Ten basic criteria, checked by a robot on the home page. A site that passes all of them can show the badge. It is free, and the public list only shows the businesses that accept it.
These are the basics a search engine or an AI reads first. They are our criteria: they judge no platform, and the label says nothing about who built the site.
| Criterion | What is checked |
|---|---|
| HTTPS | The home page loads over an encrypted connection. |
| Mobile version | The page declares a layout for phones. |
| Structured data | At least one JSON-LD block: what an AI reads to cite an address, opening hours, a trade. |
| Meta description | The summary Google shows under the title exists. |
| Title | The page title has at least twelve characters. |
| sitemap.xml | The sitemap is served, and it is not an HTML page in its place. |
| robots.txt | The rules file for robots is served. |
| Privacy page | A privacy page is linked, with real text: at least 800 characters. |
| Footer up to date | The year shown is 2025 or later, or no year is shown. |
| Speed | The home page code arrives in 1.5 seconds or less from a server in Switzerland. |
The Hallebardier robot reads the home page, robots.txt and sitemap.xml like a visitor: no login, no form. It reads robots.txt before any other page and respects it.
First check: September 2026, on the 10,000 websites of the study. A site is checked again before it enters the list. The label carries its year: this one is valid for 2026.
Paste this code in the footer of your website. The badge links to this page, where anyone can read the criteria.

Nothing. There is nothing to buy, now or later.
Any site that passes the ten criteria. The free visibility test checks most of these points, and more.
No. A business only appears in the list if it asked or agreed. To leave it, an email to maxime.perriard@hallebardier.com is enough.
No. It only says that the home page passed the ten criteria on the day of the check.
They are the measures of the study of 10,000 Swiss small-business websites, without llms.txt: that file depends mostly on the platform, and the label does not judge platforms.
The visibility test answers in one minute, for free. To enter the list, write to me: I check the site and send you the badge. maxime.perriard@hallebardier.com
