A website for your architecture practice or agency, where the work speaks before the text.

A client chooses an architect on what they have built. A buyer chooses an agency on what it sells and how it shows it. In both cases, the site is a portfolio that has to load fast, read on a phone and make people want to call.

Your website, tested in 2 minutes

Three tests run while you answer 5 questions. The report arrives by WhatsApp and by email, then I call you to talk about next steps.

What an architect’s or agency’s client is looking for

For an architect: completed projects, with large photos, the programme, the place, the year, and a page explaining how the practice works and at what stage it can be contacted. For an estate agent: the properties, the area, the team, and a simple way to get a valuation or sell.

In both cases, the client is often international, and compares with sites from London, Paris or Milan. Yours has to be restrained, fast, and exist in English.

The pages that matter

A handful of pages is enough, as long as they are the right ones. These are the ones, and each has a precise job to do.

The pageWhat it has to contain
The homepageThree projects or three properties, the name, the city, a contact button. Nothing else.
Projects or propertiesOne page per project, large compressed photos, two paragraphs, the facts. For an agency, a list filterable by place and type.
The practice or the agencyThe people, the history in five lines, the awards, the languages.
How we workFor an architect: the phases, what the client decides when, how fees are calculated. For an agency: the sales method, the commission.
Valuation or contactA short form, a direct line. For an agency, a valuation page that leads to a call.
LanguagesFrench, English, German depending on your clients. Visible includes two languages.

What I see on architects’ and agencies’ websites

Beautiful sites that take fifteen seconds to load on a phone, portfolios in Flash or an abandoned plugin, agencies with properties sold two years ago still online, and forms that go nowhere. The work behind is often remarkable; the site hides it.

The Visible package, suits most practices and agencies: twenty pages, two languages, a landing page for a type of project or property, integration with your tools. Conquête adds the third language and the contact database for an agency following buyers over several months.

Questions

Can the site show our properties automatically?

Depending on your management software. In Visible and Conquête, integration with your tools is included; we see on the first call what your system allows.

Are photos included?

You supply the photos; I compress and lay them out. An architectural photographer remains a practice’s best investment, and I will tell you so.

Can the site exist in English?

Yes. Visible includes two languages, Conquête three. Each version is written.
