HallebardierIndustries › Notaries

A website for your notarial office that earns trust before the first appointment.

A client rarely picks a notary by chance: they compare two or three offices, the day before a signing, from their phone. What they find has to answer on one page: who you are, what you do, where, in which language, and how to book an appointment.

What a notary’s client is looking for

They search for “notary” and their town, or a specific deed: succession, inheritance agreement, company formation, property sale, marriage contract. They want to know whether the office handles that deed, in their language, and how quickly. Then they look at the people: a face, a background, a year of admission reassure more than a text about “our values”.

Finally they check the details: address, parking, opening hours, direct line. A fifteen-field form drives them away. A “book an appointment” button leading to a calendar, or a clickable number, does the opposite.

The pages that matter

01The homepage

The office name, the town, the practice areas in five words, an appointment button. Nothing else above the fold.

02One page per practice area

Succession, property, companies, family. Each explains what the notary does, what the client has to bring, and how long it takes.

03The team

Notaries, staff, languages spoken, admission. Real photos.

04Fees

What cantonal law fixes, what is calculated, what has to be asked. A page that explains it saves ten calls.

05Appointments and contact

Address, access, opening hours, direct line, short form, calendar if you use one.

06Legal notice and privacy

An office processes sensitive data; its legal pages have to be beyond reproach. They are included.

What I see on notarial office websites

Many offices have a site made at founding, with a photo of the façade, a list of practice areas without explanation, and a form that was never tested. Some have none at all. Young notaries taking over an office inherit that site with the rest, and leave it because daily work comes first.

The result: a client comparing two offices picks the one whose site answers their questions. Not the one with the most experience.

The Visible package, at CHF 5,800, suits most offices: fourteen pages, two languages, a landing page for a practice area you want to grow, integration with your calendar. Minimum is enough for a one-person office in a single language.

Questions

Yes. Visible includes two languages, Conquête three. I write each version; you review before going live.

What do I have to provide?

Thirty minutes on the phone to tell me about the office, photos, and a review. I write all the copy.

Is the site compliant for an office processing sensitive data?

Legal notice, privacy statement and consent banner are included and carefully written. Have them reviewed by a colleague or a specialist before the first client whose data you process online.
